Turnstile is a hardcore band from Baltimore, MD that pulled through Denver this weekend. I've been a fan of their music for a few years now and it was only my second time seeing them but first time shooting them. The reason I'm writing this on a Monday when it happened Saturday is because it took me a whole day to recover from this show. THEIR SHOWS ARE CRAZY. I had to toughen up for a week to prepare for this one and also because they had one of my favorite bands Touché Amoré opening for them and well, a Touché show gets pretty wild too. I'm super stoked with what I got out of this show and I hope my legs heal in time for the next one.

AMZY, alright have you heard of them? Oh you have? Good that will save me some time then explaining how good they put on shows.
I got an awesome opportunity to shoot these guys for the first time and now I got to keep up with doing that. Usually the typical 'pop-indie' kind of shows I go to are kind of mellow, nothing out of the ordinary from anything else I've shot so I honestly went in with low expectations. In a strange way that worked out pretty well only because of the energy and excitement that was presented along with a pretty damn good light set up!
I'm not too sure if they've played anywhere besides the bluebird wise but I can't recommend them enough for locals around here in Denver. Congrats on being my first blog post ever!
